The POG-2M device is designed to determine the smoothness of paper and cardboard in accordance with GOST 12795-89, ISO 5627-84 (smoothness according to Becky). This method is based on measuring the transit time of a certain volume of air between the surface of the test sample and a polished glass plate while decreasing the vacuum in a vacuum chamber by specified values. The device is equipped with small (38 cm 3) and large (380 cm 3) chambers, which allows the determination of smoothness from small (up to 10 s) to very large values (3600 ° C).
